Al Ittihad Park is a 1.1 million square foot sustainable, green oasis at Palm Jumeirah, with more than 60 varieties of trees and plants indigenous to the UAE. The park opened in 2012 to coincide with the UAE’s 41st National Day celebrations, as a special tribute to the nation. ‘Ittihad’ means ‘union’, and the park was built to be a relaxing place where Dubai’s communities could come together to meet and socialise in natural, shaded surroundings.
